My Great News

A professional web presence makes a statement when first impressions count. That’s why I decided to create a simple, but effective, website service to help small businesses get their great news out to their potential customers – MyGreatNews.co.uk was born!

MyGreatNews.co.uk is a collaborative project that delivers stunning, professional, single-page websites to promote business launches and other events and announcements. The concept has been developed by 3 talented people – Martin Jarvis (a Web Developer and WordPress Expert), Melanie Nicholls (an expert at finding compelling words), and Kevin Belson (a creator of stunning images).

Our Solution

Great marketing for you, your business or your cause, we’ll get it out here, there and everywhere!

WordPress is one of the most widely used web publishing platforms. By installing it in network form (so one install of wordpress can run multiple websites), and combining it with a Woothemes premium theme expressly designed for announcements, we quickly came up with a solution which allows us to create stunning single page websites.

Our plan is to offer one of these websites to individuals and businesses that have something to say – an announcement, a wedding, a charity event, a business launch… in fact, anything that they want to tell the World about! We will deliver compelling words and beautiful images, wrap it all up in a lovely website, then use our own networks to broadcast the news to as many people as possible.
