What is vCalendar or iCalendar?

vCalendar is a standard exchange format for calendar data, and is used by most well-known calendar and scheduling packages enabling users to exchange and synchronise meeting and event information. iCalendar is a newer standard, and is heavily based upon vCalendar. It is not yet as widely supported as vCalendar, but we are happy to provide iCalendar solutions where required!

You can incorporate this free web calendar software on your website quite easily, giving your visitors the opportunity to automatically add reminders to their desktop calendar software (such as Microsoft Outlook).

Adding a vCalendar Event

To get an idea of how a vCalendar solution might work in practice, add an event to our test system by completing the following fields. Then press the 'Add Event' button to see the event added to the list below.

Viewing vCalendar and iCalendar Events

Your Customers will see the events you have available (see below), and can then click the 'Remind Me' button, which will automatically add the event to their own Calendar program, such as Microsoft Outlook or any other Personal Information Manager (PIM).
