Google Crawl error “et_core_page_resource=”

Category : FAQ

Why does Google say I have a crawl error for url containing et_core_page_resource?

You are using the Divi theme with the Static CSS File Generation option enabled. This generates a static CSS file to hold your Divi custom styles. This is good for your page speed, but it does generate some javascript in your pages that points to a file called https://yourdomain/et_core_page_resource.

Divi returns a 404 (not found) warning when anyone (Google included) tries to follow the link. This is perfectly normal, and there is no need to do anything about it. It won’t harm your SEO.

If the warning bothers you, you can visit Divi => Theme Options => Builder => Advanced in your WordPress dashboard and disable Statis CSS File Generation.
